The first time I tried to give Gavin a banana, he was not interested. I mashed it up to see if I could get him to eat it and he still wasn't impressed. I ended up mixing in apples and oatmeal to convince him to eat it. After we returned from Hilton Head, since he has been doing better with feeding himself, I decided to try handing him a banana again. Success!
Eating bananas is serious business... leave me alone!
Mmmm... banana!
He loved it and ate about two-thirds of a medium sized banana with his breakfast! Now he eats part or most of a banana most days. It is nice to be able to hand him food and he feeds and entertains himself so I can get things done and eat as well!
