Gavin Loves to Help!

Gavin can be such a huge help with Dane. He loves to bring him toys and Dane loves to watch Gavin run around and play. I hope they continue to enjoy each others company as they grow!

Gavin Disappeared...

Warming Up!

Gavin, Dane, and I are enjoying some, slightly, warmer weather yesterday and today. It feels awesome and it is only mid-40's! Dane is happily mostly sleeping through it and Gavin is running around enjoying the snow, ice, and mud.

 

 

 

 

 

    

Happy Valentines Day!

We don't have anything out of the ordinary planned for the day. Gavin, Dane, and I ran our errands to Old Navy and Target this morning so we could hopefully get outside for a bit after Gavin's nap because it warmed up enough (mid 40's - wahoo).

Other than that, it will be pretty uneventful. We don't normally do anything but maybe making a little bit nicer dinner than we would have every other day and a fun dessert but that will have to wait for another day. Scott has been working hard and late all week and will likely do that for a while longer so he doesn't end up having to work weekends. It is tough, but at least that gives us our weekends together and time for him to work on antennas.

So Gavin, Dane, and I will find fun things to do together instead! A few pictures to make this less boring...they are not great pictures but considering neither one wanted to sit still and I can't get the good pictures off of the Canon right now, phone pictures will have to do!

New Friends, New Fun!

Gavin, Dane, and I have a new Playgroup!! This is ridiculously exciting for us! Gavin and I have tried a few different things but nothing has ever really stuck long term for lots of reasons. This new group of moms and kids is an awesome group and we have been meeting regularly for the last two months. It is amazing to have other moms that are close to my age to chat with and for Gavin to have kids that are both a little younger and a little older to play with. He does pretty well, most of the time, but he is still learning and doesn't understand why they don't always just want to run around. I'm sure it will get better. We are enjoying the regularity of our meetings and that we are rotating between all our houses. It is nice to have new places to play, different toys, and to share our toys with new friends! I hope we are able to continue these get togethers and the new people that have been invited are able to attend so we can continue to build the friendships we have started!

I haven't pulled out either the Canon or the camera on my phone but I need to do that so I can share some pictures of Gavin enjoying the other kids we meet with. I am so glad this group of moms started getting together and included us because it is just what we needed and have been looking for since Gavin was a baby!

Blizzard!

We are forecasted to have quite the snow storm on our hands today into tomorrow. I am so excited. The flurries have started so we have to wait and see if the forecast is right or if we end up with little to no snow. I plan to make the most of it by doing fun things with Gavin like baking, building tents, running around while we watch the snow and maybe a movie or two. Hopefully we get enough snow that we can go out tomorrow to sled and build a snowman!
