We are having a really wonderful weekend together! We have been spending lots of time hanging out and playing, doing some research for an up and coming potential purchase and are planning to get the family truckster washed up (since we need both of us to work together to keep Gavin occupied and wash the Terrain). Gavin and I have a lot of fun together during the week but that doesn't come close to comparing to our weekends. Gavin clearly loves the weekends because he gets more time with Scott. Even when Scott has things to do around the house and outside, he still seems him a lot more and he loves it. He follows Scott around wherever he can manage. I love watching them together. Scott teaching Gavin about what he is doing and the tools he is using and Gavin trying to help.
It is especially nice this weekend since we got a bonus day yesterday. Scott worked part of last weekend, so he was able to take yesterday off. I love when vacations, long weekends and holidays come around because we get more time together as a family!
